On June 9 and 10 this year, conversation festival LAMPA will take place in the city Cēsis. The Ministry of Agriculture in Latvia, in cooperation with the Rural Support Service and the Rural Consultation and Education Center, organizes discussion "Childhood taste for the future". The event will take place on June 9, 12:30-2:00 p.m.
Provision of food is strategically important for every country, but healthy food on daily basis is one of the prerequisites for a healthy society. Examples show that children can be brought up to healthy food of local origin from an early age, creating a "childhood taste" that will accompany the new generation further in life - a need to use healthy products in their daily diet will become a habit and a basic need. How to get more local producers to supply educational institutions - this will be discussed by participants of the discussion "Childhood taste for the future".
Programme "School Milk and Fruits" will also participate in the festival LAMPA and will talk about the products variety for children, as well as share some interesting and useful information about the rules of healthy eating.
