In the E-index measurement of state institutions and municipalities in 2022, organized by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of Latvia, Rural Support Service (RSS) has been awarded the highest rating. Among 115 state institutions participating in the measurement of state administration E-index maturity level, RSS ranked as 1st in the state institutions category.
This is the second time when RSS received the highest rating - in year 2018, during the digital forum "Data-based Nation", RSS received award as the best state administrative institution in the E-index measurement.
The highest rating in this measurement were reflected in the areas related to customer service and provided services provision. RSS achievements have also been praised in other categories, for example, effective management of the institution's internal processes, availability of the institution's open data, as well as communication with the public and participation process.
E-index of Latvia is an assessment of the e-environment in state administration institutions and municipalities. It gives an idea of how actively state institutions use solutions provided by the modern information and communication technologies to promote the quality and accessibility of services provided to citizens and businesses.
