Zaļš lauks ar vārpām un diviem kokiem pa vidu

Starting October 16, the Rural Support Service will begin paying advances for the Income Support for Sustainability (ISIP) and Organic Farming Payments (BLA) to Latvian farmers. The ISIP advance will be paid at a rate of 70%, while the BLA advance will be paid at a rate of 85%.

  • On the first day, more than 26,700 farmers will receive ISIP advances, with a total amount of €70.9 million being paid out.
  • On the first day, 2,700 clients will receive BLA advance payments, with the LAD paying out a total of EUR 14 million.

This year, the provisional ISIP support rate is EUR 80/ha, of which 70% will be paid in advance, i.e. approximately EUR 56/ha. In ISIP regions with special conditions, i.e., regions where the vegetation period is shorter than 195 days and the quality rating of agricultural land is less than 38 points, or which border countries that are not EU Member States, the provisional ISIP support rate will be approximately €90/ha, of which approximately €63/ha will be paid as an advance payment.

For organic farms, the BLA rate this year ranges from €46 to €518/ha, depending on the crops grown.

Advance payments will be made to farmers whose farms have completed the eligibility check, therefore LAD kindly invites farmers to check the electronic application system (EPS) to ensure that all the necessary additional information has been submitted.

The full area payment schedule and provisional support rates can be found in the Support Rates and Payment Schedule section.

Advance payments will begin on October 16, and payments will continue in the following days.
