On behalf of the Latvian Presidency I invite you with great pleasure to the 37th Conference of the Directors of EU Paying Agencies! The Conference will be held on 6th-8th of May, 2015 at the National Library of Latvia in Riga, also called the Castle of Light (Gaismas pils in Latvian).
During the Conference you will have a possibility to see the Old Town of Riga as well as to enjoy the beauty of Baltic Sea seaside. Now I will not describe in detail what you will see in particular, but will allow you to enjoy it all at the time when you will come to Riga, Latvia.
You will find a copy of the agenda for the Conference attached to this e-mail. At the beginning of April you will receive detailed materials for the workshops as well.
The focal point of the Conference is simplification of CAP. It will be discussed in all workshops. In plenary session we would like to include presentations about the good practice examples from the Member States.
Interpretation will be provided to and from Latvian, English, French and German.
Please register for the participation in the Conference no later than 20th of April 2015. The registration should be made at the official registration system of the Conference. One person has to act as the delegation’s administrator and is personally responsible for the registration of the whole delegation. Please note it is necessary for each delegate to upload a recent photograph that allows an easy identification of delegate’s face. The number of the delegates will be limited to three representatives for each Member State.
The accommodation hotels are Tallink Hotel Riga and Albert Hotel. The hotel rooms must be booked during the registration for participation in the Conference on the official registration system of the Conference.
